ABOUT - THE GAME OF LOGIC
|
|
Lewis Carroll, the author of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, was a
mathematician and logician. In addition to these writings, he authored two books on logic -
Symbolic Logic and The Game of Logic.
|
|
Symbolic Logic provides a complete overview of symbolic logic. It is both entertaining and informational.
The Game of Logic makes symbolic logic more accessible. It introduces a fool proof method of making a conclusion from two propositions,
that's the game! Carroll introduces all sorts of amusing propositions to illustrate the game.

The Game of Logic On-line Companion and Tutorial extends the book by progressively stepping you through the game, much like was done in the book.
However, unlike a book, the companion provides randomly generated and guided practice problems to ensure mastery at each step. At each step along the way,
practice is required. The On-line Companion not only randomly generates problems for each stage, but it guides you by providing immediate feedback.
We believe that this is the key to learning the Game of Logic and mastering syllogisms!
In the end we hope to increase your ability to logically make conclusion from two propositions! Just like Lewis Carroll hoped for over 100 years ago!
Give it a try! And let us know what you think!
